DOMINO'S DILEMMA

SUMMARY

I was grouped with two of my fellow classmates at BRIT and was tasked to create an animation based on a conversation.

We chose this section because it was interesting and had comedic potential behind it. I had a much better time animating this project rather than previous ones because I had a much clearer view of what I wanted to make.

PRE-PRODUCTION

My group and I worked on a storyboard that works with the conversation that we chose to follow along with. (You can view the full storyboard here!)

I made my character based on a shark because I like sharks. I really like sharks. I also primarily made my character turquoise-coloured too because... I really like turquoise.

ANIMATING

As I've learned from previous projects, animating is difficult, and this was no exception to that statement. I did have a much more fun time animating here than I did with The Lost Music because I had a much clearer idea of what I'm aiming to draw, instead of just winging it until I get something that looks half decent.

REFLECTION

Similar to other animation projects that I've helped work on, I again felt like I was being too much of a perfectionist with what I did. However, I did catch onto it much earlier than previous times and was able to complete all of the scenes that I'd assigned to myself in the end.
