INSPIRATIONS
I had taken inspiration from a number of motion design videos based on songs and their lyrics.
I'd also given some practice to motion design over the past few months, and I've become quite fond of it. I've always loved seeing little videos of shapes and text moving around in fun ways, and I'd never really thought about that this is something I can pursue in the future as a full-time career, so since then it's become a big part of what I love to do.

PLANNING
Thanks to the lack of a storyboard, choosing the right idea was a bit of a challenge. I had tried to focus on digitally-created scenes in Figma, which I would bring into my software of choice, but after making the first two scenes, I started to realise how much of a doofus I really was. This was until I eventually decided I would put the spotlight more on typography, which was another thing I wanted to experiment with.

REFLECTION
As much as I would've loved to continue with the ambitious plans I had in place, I think this was a really good way to start with more heavy-focused motion designs in Cavalry, because as much as it's a great software to work with, it does have its drawbacks and flaws (Not saying I don't have any, of course!).
